Lucio Bertoli-Barsotti è professore di II fascia di Statistica. Ha ricoperto il ruolo di professore di II fascia di Statistica presso l’Università degli Studi di Torino dal 1998 al 2002 e, dal 2002 ad oggi, presso l’Università degli Studi di Bergamo. Precedentemente è stato ricercatore presso la Università Cattolica del S.Cuore di Milano, dal 1987 al 1998. Principali interessi di ricerca: Stima di massima verosimiglianza; Modelli per la Iterm Response Theory; Rasch Analysis; Procedure inferenziali per dati mancanti; Analisi e modelli per dati citazionali. E’ stato docente di Statistica 1, Statistica 2, Analisi Statistica Multivariata, Probabilità e Statistica Avanzata per la Finanza, Statistica Matematica I e II, Statistica Applicata alla Ricerca Educativa I e II, Modelli Statistici per l’Analisi e la Valutazione dei Processi Educativi presso svariate Facoltà (Economia, Scienze Matematiche Fisiche e Naturali, Magistero, Scienze della Formazione) di diversi Atenei (Bergamo, Milano, Torino, Brescia). Ha svolto attività di revisore per svariate riviste scientifiche, fra cui: Applied Psychological Measurement; Communications in Statistics – Theory and methods; Electronic Journal of Statistics; Journal of Applied Quantitative Methods; Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation; Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology; PlosOne; Quality & Quantity; Quality Technology & Quantitative Management; Quality Technology and Quantitative Management; Scientometrics; Statistica; Statistica Applicata; Statistical Methods & Applications; Statistical Papers.
